We Love Treating Kids
A lot of dentists may refuse to treat children and often refer them directly to a specialist without attempting to treat their oral health conditions. At Healthy Smile, we believe in family dentistry and we don’t only treat patients that are considered “easy” to treat.
Children often experience dental anxiety at the thought of a visit to the dentist. We understand what these children feel and spare no effort to win their confidence by making their dental experience as comfortable, safe and enjoyable as possible. Naturally, there are times when we believe professional specialist attention is required, but none-the-less, where we can make the dental experience easier and less complicated, we will do our very best.
CDBS
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a dental health program funded by the Australian Government that provides basic dental services for children (aged 2-17). The benefit is capped at $1000 over a consecutive two year period, which commences at the start of the year that your child or teenager attends their first eligible dental appointment for basic dental services, including: examinations, X-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals, extractions and partial dentures.
